Dec 4 - the day of big travel

How  to make your day the most tiring.?

The answer is to travel a 6 hours journey to and fro on the same day. I may not be the only person having this opinion but really, I felt tired and wasted, aching my body all over. The incidence was regarding filling up the forms required to get a provisional certificate from the Medical council. We(me and my 5 friends) went to Thrissur on the Jan-shatabdi express. The journey to was fine, everything happened on time. There was no delay, surprisingly. Boarded a private bus, paid 5 Rs. and reached college. The first sight, I witnessed was a huge hole dug up in the ground near the college entrance. I was glad - finally they decided to construct a new septic tank. Thanks to althaf n sherry, most of the formalities were over. Just had to fill up a form, paste photograph, sign it, attach attested copies and the demand draft and everything was over. It was only 12.30 pm then. I, along with janso, nimal and vincent thought of having lunch. Its often the most simple questions that we have difficulty finding answers to. This time, it was the place where to have food. Well, finally we decided to go to a thattu kada nearby in nimal's brand new (though it's second hand) racer swift. Food was of not much special to talk about. Went to get some fresh air and relieve ourselves then. Thanks to nimal, had a comfortable journey back to railway station back in time. The gals(my 5 friends) came later and the train too came even more later. Had that gloomy feeling of restricting myself to a chair for 5.5 hours. Even my mild effort to sleep didn't bear fruit. Time was going slowly. Finally, reached Thiruvananthapuram somehow. I ate food at home ferociously - how I miss homely food even staying away for a single day. [Hmmm...]. Sleep on my cozy bed was the only relief that day.

Heard that house surgency starts on 16th Dec.Orientation programme on 15th.
sometimes it may be pre-poned to 10th.
Have to meet Dr. Rema, the council president tomorrow.

Gud nyt diary.

Dec 2 - another day

Today, I went to visit one old friend of mine [Anuvind] at Trivandrum Govt. Medical college. On the walk there, I saw few things in common between Amala and there; one is the free lunch [kanji] service - At Amala, we have the Agappa whereas there I saw the Shiva sena doing similar service. Also, Similar to our milma booth in Amala, there is one ksheera kendra there. The college is silent as any other, and all the notice boards filled with posters and circulars of various unions. Everyone has got a union, whether it be student, teacher or post graduate. The meeting was wonderful, felt happy after seeing him after many years. Gave him a small treat, recalled old memories, and we parted ways as he had a Gynec theory class at 2pm.

I have a dream - some day, I want to study and work there.
Hope Almighty give me the strength to fulfill this dream of mine.

Some things to work upon - the road is pathetic. also the traffic at the medical college junction is unbearable.
The KSRTC buses and auto rickshaws contribute the major part of it. Getting a solution is only a brim hope, especially in my beautiful state, boasted very much as the God's own Country. I wonder how God feels it. :-)

Time to go.
Bye Bye diary. C ya.

To the beginning

As an introduction, this blog has no purpose at present. Maybe it might have a purpose in the future. I intent to use this platform as an online diary to describe my experiences about to happen. This step might discontinue anytime but I believe in the notion that "Small beginnings make great endings".

Results were announced by the Calicut univ 2 days ago. I was extremely happy n overjoyed that i passed, and that too with 1st class. Didn't expect this, but i liked that when Janso, my friend commented me as the 'last minute winner'.Like every coin has got 2 sides, there was a  happy and a sad part. The happy part is that our college (Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur) got the best results till now. The sad part is that few of my friends , whom i knew so well, didn't get through.

I pray to almighty to give them mental strength to overcome this.

Yesterday, was a minor degree of headache of what is in store for us. Filling forms, bill payment, approval by the college, getting provisional certificate from Calicut univ and then travelling 8 hours south to Thiruvanthapuram to get temporary registration from Travancore Medical Council. Hearing this itself was a lot confusing. Cant imagine the troubles to be faced while getting it done. Thanks to Althaf , Sherry and Janso, did the first job without much effort.

Todays plan- Meet old School teachers and few friends from Trivandrum Medical College.
C ya.Catch you after some time.
